日前，洪都拉斯总统府新闻部副部长、国家电视台台长卡洛斯·哈维尔·埃斯特拉达 （Carlos Javier Estrada, Deputy Press Secretary at the Presidential House of Honduras and Director of National Television）在带领洪都拉斯主流媒体记者团访问贵州期间接受了贵州日报采访，分享了他对贵州省的印象和发展观察。

Recently, during a visit to Guizhou with a group of mainstream media journalists from Honduras, the first official delegation to visit China after the establishment of diplomatic relations between Honduras and China, Carlos Javier Estrada, shared his impressions and observations of Guizhou province in an interview with the Guizhou Daily.

该代表团是洪都拉斯与中国建交后访华的首个官方代表团，卡洛斯一行先后到平塘特大桥、中国天眼FAST、遵义会议会址、茅台镇、花茂村等地实地参观，对贵州消除贫困、乡村振兴、基础设施建设、特色产业发展等领域的做法和取得的成就有了深刻的体会。

The delegation visited various places in Guizhou, including the Pingtang Bridge, China"s FAST, the Site of the Zunyi Conference, Maotai Town, and Huamao Village, and gained a deep understanding of Guizhou"s practices and achievements in poverty alleviation, rural revitalization, infrastructure construction, and development of characteristic industries.

“对我们而言，贵州就像一个新的发展典范！”他高度赞扬了贵州在发展中采取的平衡策略，“这种做法兼顾了文化传承、民族发展和环境保护，实现了整体发展。特别是通过基础设施连接了偏远地区，同时保护了该地区的自然美景。”

"This province is like a new paradigm," He highly praised Guizhou"s balanced approach to development, which takes into account cultural heritage, ethnic development, and environmental protection, and achieves overall development, and, in particular, by connecting remote areas with infrastructure while protecting their natural beauty.

在参观平塘特大桥和配套建设的“天空之桥”高速公路服务区时，埃斯特拉达看到了基础设施建设对带动当地人流、物流的重要价值，以及拉动当地旅游、农业和文化发展的重要贡献，在他看来，贵州的桥梁和基础设施建设非常优秀，对消除贫困意义重大。

When visiting the Pingtang Bridge and the "Sky Bridge" highway service area, Mr. Estrada saw the important value of infrastructure construction in driving local communication of people and goods and the important contribution to local tourism, agriculture, and cultural development. In his view, Guizhou"s bridge and infrastructure construction are excellent and of great significance for poverty alleviation.

“相较而言，洪都拉斯在基础设施发展方面仍有很大的发展空间，相信可以从贵州的发展中学到许多潜在的经验和机会。在尊重环境和人民的前提下，洪都拉斯基础设施建设的提升非常重要。”

"This province is like a new paradigm about what we should do in our country. What we are lacking maybe in Honduras is the reformation that the country has to do with development in the infrastructure development, also in the respect on nature and as well the respect on the people."

贵州与洪都拉斯在地理条件、自然资源等方面有很多相似之处。他说，此次带领洪都拉斯主流媒体代表团访问中国，主要目的就是让大家亲自了解和感受中国发展的进程，并将这种新的发展模式带回洪都拉斯。

There are many similarities between Guizhou and Honduras in terms of geographical conditions and natural resources. He noticed that this trip was to learn more about China"s development, thus bringing this new development model back to Honduras.

卡洛斯对贵州人民基于可持续发展承诺而开展的具体实践和所获成果给予很高评价，“贵州曾经也是一个受到污染困扰的地区，但现在已成为环境最优美的地方之一。希望此次访问能够加强两地区之间的合作，特别是在旅游业方面。”

Mr. Estrada gave high praise to the specific practices and achievements of the Guizhou people based on their commitment to sustainable development." Guizhou was once an area plagued by pollution, but now it has become one of the most beautiful places in terms of environment. I hope this visit can strengthen cooperation between the two regions, especially in the tourism industry."

他同时认为，洪都拉斯人民应保持开放心态，不要让偏见影响他们对中国的看法。

He also believed that the people of Honduras should maintain an open-minded attitude and not let prejudices affect their views on China.

随着贵州和洪都拉斯之间关系的不断发展，两地之间还将有更多相互了解、合作的机会。

With the continuous development of the relationship between Guizhou and Honduras, there will be more opportunities for mutual understanding and cooperation between the two regions.
